For the first time in history, Club Shosholoza offers a one-off opportunity to personally sponsor an America's Cup yacht. To assist the Team raise further funds, Club Shosholoza will contribute at least 2,300 Euro from each individual booking directly to the team, with the aim of raising a further 750,000 Euro towards the quest. In return, the team is offering you the opportunity to step backstage as a VIP guest; to soak up the atmosphere and witness the drama of the 32nd America's Cup.
The environment will be scintillating; there is a magnificent roof terrace, which affords stunning views over the Port America's Cup, and will enable you to watch how the yachts are prepared for the races. Our VIP guests will get a taste of the emotion, the passion and the incredible technology that goes into an America's Cup campaign.
The 'experience' includes:
- Team passes to Base Shosholoza; access all areas (situated between Alinghi and BMW Oracle)
- Base tour by a member of the Team; insight into the design and building of the race-yacht
- Witness the racing close-up from either the 'sister' yacht, chase rib or from our luxury 80 foot 'Champagne' yacht, inside the course
- Join the Crew for the pre-race briefing*

- A delightful mix of South African and Mediterranean cuisine, as well as a complimentary bar at the Team Base

*Should Shosholoza be eliminated from the America's Cup at any stage, there will be no Crew pre-race briefing; however, the Team has agreed to allow our VIP guests a number of seats on the Race Yacht to follow the latter stages of the competition.
